Our story
Josh Hamilton, a local musician, sound engineer, and surfer, noticed a lack of live music events on the South Coast of NSW. In 2018, he started Southern Entertainment to promote quality live music and develop local artists. With the support of Surflife music festival, the company grew and became passionate about developing the live music scene in Australia. Run by musicians for musicians, Southern Entertainment provided opportunities for artists to perform, connect with audiences, and build their careers. The company's success was a testament to Josh's vision and hard work. He has created a business that was driven by a deep love of music and a desire to share that passion with others. And as long as there were people who loved live music, Josh and Southern Entertainment would be there to bring it to them.
